The walls were marked up, and half-patched, and the floor was pulled up a bit so we could see the hardwood underneath., I wasn’t really ready to paint the walls yet, but I wanted to paint a little, so I did these boxes of color, which kind of gave the feeling of molding on the walls.For a little while, then the icky feeling came back because there were still those marked up parts on the walls and the floor was still torn up a bit.

Still icky-feeling..Fall is the perfect time to get planting!Do you have a mountain of disorganized lego at your house?

Forget about all of those complicated, expensive and time-consuming lego storage solutions you’ve seen and given up on and just use cheapo clear storage bins instead.So much easier for kids to see everything and it’s a simple enough system that they might even put the legos away on their own!OK, let me just start out by saying that if I was in charge of this chalkboard project, then I absolutely would have gone ahead and done a shoddy job of it.

I ended up asking Chris to make this for Kennedy’s room though, so of course he went and turned a quick little project into a whole.I usually get pretty annoyed when this happens (and it always happens), but this time the extra effort was definitely worth it.
